Breastfeeding Adults: Another Example of the Disease of Radical Islam

Posted by imfreenow on May 31, 2007

I found this over at a new site my cousin told me about: The LawDog Files. He’s a cop who tells a lot of stories about his job, but in this case found an article about shari’a law stating that if an Islamic woman is working in private with an Islamic man, if he is not related to her, he can become related to her by her breastfeeding him! LawDog, as he calls himself relates this story in the funniest way, it’s worth reading. My cousin worked as a doctor in ER 15 years, so he has a lot in common with a cop working in a public service type of job, so I can see the appeal for him.

I don’t know about you, but as I’m reading the article on breastfeeding, I’m just getting sick. And people wonder why we’re at war!

I’m Bored Out Of My Mind

Posted by imfreenow on May 31, 2007

Here’s Why:

1. I’m almost 52 and I live in my parent’s basement and work 20 hours a week, soon to go to school, just like someone just out of high school. Can anyone spell L.O.S.E.R.?

2. I’m doing telemarketing (hate to admit) which means I say the same thing over and over: “may I please speak to the homeowner?”

3. I lost control of my weight about two years ago and have some fat on my stomach but I’m not willing to slave at a gym to get rid of it, but every day out of obligation, ride my bike a few miles to the park and back.

4. Every morning I greet my mother, eat toast and drink her coffee. I love my mother, but what a routine.

5. Every day I clear the brown stuff off my cat’s box.

6. Every day, I go to the coffee shop and order the same thing: cappuccino with froth, and get on the internet. Some days even the internet is a dead end.

7. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the coffee shop keeps repeating the same songs over and over again. I don’t know where they get their music, but I’m a musician and am picky about music. I don’t like repetition.

8. And as if all this wasn’t bad enough, I’ve been going to church with my parents. Now, my parents’ church has championed mediocrity! If this church was a demonstration to the whole world what Christianity is like, no one would want to be a Christian, save a small handful. Boring!

But there is one thing I never tire of: The Far Wright! Kingdavid’s blog. His creativity, humor and spontaneity coupled with his hatred of the liberal mindset are truly refreshing. I guess boredom is better than having a crisis, but as long as life is this boring, I’m glad I have The Far Wright.
